The main advantage of this milking method is that milking time is significantly shorter, even to 25% in comparison to the conventional herringbone milking parlour. The milker operates two sides of the milking pit simultaneously. While cows are being milked on one side, the animals on the other side are subject to hygienic treatments and replacement of the animals.
